Hi! I am a recent graduate of University of Wisconsin Madison, with 9+ years of experience in caring for kids of all ages. I started babysitting for my younger siblings and their friends' families when I was about 11-12, and have continued in childcare roles all throughout high school and college since then. I volunteered at a preschool throughout High School, and worked as a babysitter for local families most weekends. I have also worked as camp counselor at an overnight summer camp for three summers where I was the primary caretaker of kids between the ages of 8-16 years old. As a counselor, I planned and organized a range of creative and fun age-appropriate activities on a daily basis. The past two summers I have been both a full and part time nanny for two kids. I love children and am committed to building a strong connection with your family, and helping to create a healthy happy environment.

Alex looked after our 6 month old son for a couple of months after my husband and I returned to work. She was wonderful with him- took him on walks, played with him and always kept detailed notes of her time with him. We really enjoyed having Alex in our home and trusted her with our son. However, the reason for the 3 stars is because after 2 months, she stopped communicating with us and stopped showing up without any notice or explanation. We gave her numerous opportunities to let us know what was going on- I called and texted for days with no reply. It was extremely disappointing and very unlike the person we knew. Our time with Alex ended suddenly and was really poor experience for us as we were left with having to figure out childcare last minute. We really liked Alex and believe she was a responsible and trustworthy care taker, however, I am unable to give a glowing recommendation at this time.
