About Alexandra

I am an NC native & a proud momma of two brilliant children (ages 18 &13). I started working with children when in my own homeschool group & church nursery at 12yrs old & continued throughout the years. I successfully opened & operated my own childcare business offering date nights & 24/7 drop in care for 6 + years. I been a personal nanny for many families since, working with kids ages 5 weeks to 15 years old with various levels of mental and physical capabilities including Down syndrome, Asperger's , cerbal palsy and many children on the Autism spectrum. I also spent time as a Pre-K teacher at a Montessori nature school for ages 2-3 where the focus was on social & emotional development, independence, creative learning & routine. I strive at providing additional assistance in the home where needed, including cooking, cleaning, organizing & establishing & following routines. I am know to take initiative, lead comfortably & communicate well. I am a Nonsmoker and comfortable with pets.
