About Alexa

Hello! My name is Alexa. I am a graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania's Master of Social work program. I work as a school-based and outpatient therapist in the Reading, PA area. My husband and I are parents to a toddler, with another baby due in November, and we have two medium sized friendly dogs as well. I have worked as a hospital clinician(therapist), direct support staff and advocate for children, adolescents, adults and veterans. I was a caregiver for an older gentleman when I lived in New Mexico, assisting with medication prompting, meal preparation, engaging in games and going on outings to assist with physical activity. As an outpatient therapist supporting individuals and families seeking support for various needs from trauma to anxiety and depression and life changes, and having older family members benefitting from additional support, I understand seeking care for loved ones to ensure their safety and security.
