About Alexa

Hi my name is Alexa. I recently moved to the metro area to finish my degree in childhood education. My goal is to become a K-5 teacher! I'd describe my personality as kind, responsible, and enthusiastic. I love working with kids because I find joy in entertaining them. It's also so rewarding to help their development by aiding the pursuit of their interests as well as tutoring them academically. I've been working with kids since I can remember due to the fact that I'm the oldest sibling. I tend to spend a lot of time outdoors, activities such as walking and fishing are my favorite. I'm a foodie so farmers markets, new restaurants, and cooking shows are all exciting to me. I want to be very worldly so learning about new cultures by traveling is something I value. For the past 4 years I have been learning Spanish! One thing you should know about me is I love cooking. When you hire me, your kid(s) will be well fed with nutritionally balanced meals.
