About Alexa

I am a neonatal ICU nurse and, most importantly, a mom to two wonderful children. My nursing background has given me extensive knowledge of child development and safety, while motherhood has deepened my understanding of what families need from a childcare provider. I provide home-based childcare in Fairmount where your child will receive individualized attention, outdoor play, educational activities and exploration. I am looking to watch another child alongside my own two children (ages 1 and 2). With my nursing background, I can care for a child with reflux, feeding tubes, mediations, diabetes etc. My hours are flexible. The most important factor is mutual fit for our families. I will be providing all food while under my care as well as a private sleep space. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged to learn. My goal is to create a family-like environment where your child feels at ease and you have peace of mind knowing they are well cared for.
