I am a college graduate and certified elementary school teacher currently working as a permanent sub. I have always loved working with children from working as a camp counselor to babysitting throughout high school and college. I also work at a summer program for children with special needs. As a babysitter, I have had the responsibility of picking up school-age children from school or the bus stop, and helping with homework. Ideally, I am looking for a family who needs after school care and can certainly tutor or help with homework as well.

We first met Alexa when she was working as a counselor for our older daughter at the local summer recreation program. We have since hired her as our babysitter and she has been working for us for the past 4 years. Alexa puts her heart into her job and both of my daughters adore her (ages 10 and 6). They request to have her come to babysit and are always comfortable staying with her. My husband and I, too, are very comfortable leaving them with her. Alexa has helped with potty training, administering medication, and bedtime routines. Alexa takes the time to get to know the kids and spends time talking, and playing with them. She has never canceled last minute and always comes a few minutes earlier than requested, with a smile on her face. We have never had a negative experience with Alexa. Any family that hires her will be lucky to have her.
