About Alexa

Hello! My name is Alexa and I'm currently at UF studying Education. I plan on going to nursing school this upcoming summer. I absolutely love working with children and have been working at Shands Children's Hospital as a nursing assistant for more than a year. I have many years of experience with working and being around children. I have had multiple babysitting jobs, I have volunteered at Baby Gator Daycare Center, and have participated/volunteered in many other programs such as Dance Marathon and PK Yonge Middle School throughout school. Working at Shands, I have cared for children of all ages starting at a day old to teenagers. I feel extremely confident working with babies as I have fed, changed, bathed, and cared for numerous babies throughout my time working as a nursing assistant and babysitter. I am very passionate about my future career as a pediatric nurse and hope to gain even more experience by caring and loving your child!
