About Alesia

Hi! My name is Alee, and I'm a college student studying philosophy and political science. I love working with kids! It's really important to me to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, confident, and able to be themselves. I have several years of experience working with children in different settings. I've worked as a teacher aide, where I helped create lesson plans, supported students in the classroom, and communicated with parents. I currently work as a tutor, which has strengthened my ability to work one-on-one with kids and adapt to different learning styles. I've also nannied for families over the past two summers, caring for young children and managing daily routines. In addition, I've worked as a lifeguard, which taught me how to stay alert, respond quickly in emergencies, and always prioritize safety In my spare time, I like to read, swim, and play the piano!
