About Alanna

I'm an artist who has been caring for children for the past six years, with experience in babysitting and nannying. My passion for fostering children's growth and development led me to pursue coursework in early childhood development, and my creative and imaginative nature makes me a natural at engaging children in play. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's day and promptly addressing any issues that may arise. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and follow the parents' lead in this regard. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I also make coloring pages. I am comfortable caring for up to three or four children at a time, and my experience includes children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. In addition to childcare, I am happy to assist with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swim supervision.
