About Alanna E

Hey Families!! My name is Alanna, and I am a creative, funny, and friendly individual with a passion for making children feel loved. I have a BA in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and an MA in Higher Education. I currently work in HigherEd with college students and volunteer in the kids youth ministry at my church with children 0-5 years old. My first introduction to childcare started right at home with my younger siblings. I then worked at the UConn Child Labs with infants, and have worked with youth through summer camp opportunities at UConn. I love being an auntie to now three nieces and one nephew. Since they live far now, I am always missing spending time with babies and young children. I am flexible, highly empathetic, and can adapt to the needs of your child. I'd really love to be a helping hand and bring joy/adventure into your child's life. I am open to caring for your fur friends as well. Any questions you may have, I am here.
