About Alana

Hello! My name is Alana, I am 21 years old and I have spent the past two years working as an infant teacher at a daycare while also occasionally babysitting children ranging from newborn to 4 years old. I am CPR/FirstAid certified. I am currently working towards my Bachelors in Psychology with a year left to go! I would describe myself as patient, caring, and dependable. Working with infants has taught me how important it is to stay calm, attentive, and responsive to each child's needs. I really enjoy building strong connections with the children I care for and creating a space where they feel safe and comfortable. I also love planning age appropriate activities that support development in a fun and natural way. Whether it's tummy time, simple crafts, or movement-based play, I try to make sure each activity is both engaging and beneficial for their growth. (Will provide references)
