About Alana

Hello! My name is Alana. I am 28 years old certified speech-language pathologist. I completed my undergraduate studies at Purdue University and my graduate studies at Southern Illinois University. Before attending graduate school, I spent a year working as an ABA therapist in an autism center. I have since spent the last 3 years providing speech-language therapy service at a private pediatric clinic. I have over 3 years of experience caring for and providing speech-language intervention for children aged 1-20 (using play, of course). I have additional experience caring for with individuals with varying developmental and social needs. Among other things, my hobbies include playing games, spending time outside, doing arts and crafts, and cleaning! I also love animals :) I truly enjoy spending time with children and would love to answer any questions you may have.
