Hello! My name is Alaina. I'm a 25-year-old graduate student studying contemplative psychotherapy. Before starting school last August, I spent two years working as a preschool teacher at a Waldorf-inspired preschool in Seattle. I received my bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies and Psychology from Dartmouth College in 2021. The children I taught were 2. 5-6, but I have experience caring for children ages 2 months-12 years. I've worked on and off as a nanny since I was 15 and also spent two summers working as a lifeguard/swim instructor to children of all ages. As of right now, I'm looking more for one-time jobs. I will be out of town May 10-26, but after that I will be available weekday evenings (after 3pm) and weekends.

Alaina is kind and compassionate with all the preschool children. She is patient and sets good boundaries. She loves to sing songs and read stories. She can cook healthy and tasty meals. Her Spanish flows easily and she is able to translate most things for this age group. She is prompt and remembers important details of diets and routines. She is consistent in her habits.
