Experience: 7 yrs
As a nursing home administrator/companion, I am driven and a compassionate health care professional with 4 years hands-on experience in a fast-paced residential and private duty care. I am accountable and responsible with a strong focus on patient wellness and developing high standards of practice, evaluating patient care for effectiveness and implementing necessary changes to programs and policies. I am experienced at directing administrative and personnel matters in a 24/7 care facility for elderly clients. In addition, I am strong problem-solver with excellent time management skills. Moreover, I am a certified nursing assistant with experience serving chronically ill patients, including assisting with daily living activities and household tasks. I am patient and highly compassionate. I have established a record of reliability and creating positive rapport with patients, families and staffs. As a co-owner of an elderly assistant living in Mesa, Arizona from 2007 to August 2010, I was responsible for administering medication and providing transportation to and from the hospitals for check up. In addition, I was responsible for providing a safety and healthy environment for the elderly.

I strongly recommend my colleague, Akua, to your great organization. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Akua from 2007 to 2010 as the co-owner of an Assisted Living Facility, where she has been entrusted with a great deal of responsibility, including the welfare and care of our respectful senior citizens and other administrative roles in payroll and management. I have had the opportunity to observe Akua's professional skills as well as interpersonal style. She is consistently pleasant, and takes on all assignments with enthusiasm and dedication. Her caring attitude, hard work, warm approach, cultural competence, emotional intelligence and above all her discipline knowledge set her apart from most of her peers. Regardless of deadlines or other pressure, Akua always delivers. Her superior organizational skills make her the immaculate multi-tasker. One may ask, why is Akua pursuing a healthcare career, with her education background in International Relations? Well, this is the question most of her peers and subordinates posed when Akua announced of her decision to further her education in healthcare (CNA). Unequivocally, I can say that Akua has a warm and caring personality, which is felt immediately she enters a room, and I believe that her decision of career change steamed from her being raised by her grandparents since her infancy. She saw her grandparents aging and through the years, she helped cared for them until they passed. She felt her services are more needed in the health related field, which will result in personal satisfaction and appreciation to those who helped raised her and cared for her through her childhood. Without a doubt, Akua is considered as one of the best listeners around the facility and I am glad to see her pursing her dream in the healthcare field. I know she will add on to the ongoing professionalism and success to your organization
