About Akot

Hi my name is Akot , and I've been babysitting kids since 2008. In 2016 I became a child care provider which I owned my own daycare. Since I moved back to Washington, I've been trying to open the daycare backup. I've realized that kids are a gift no matter what age, background, that I will always care for them. I've also done volunteer work with my church, the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint. where all the parents go out and the rest of the older children take care of the kids that are in need. I have my CPR and first aid training certificate. Having to take care of my nephew and cousins who are twins have been hard but also has given me the strength for big challenges. At the end of the day I love what I do, and making kids day as they explore their creative minds and explore the outdoor activities. I draw, write, story tell, arts and crafts. I worked at la petite academy as an assistant teacher for a few months until I moved here, but I absolutely love it.
