About Akiko

I'd describe my personality as happy, patient, trustworthy I like caring for seniors because I enjoy listening to them share their life stories and knowledge. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help and enhance the lives of seniors so they remain independent in their home. I started caring for seniors when I graduated from high school. I was employed as a Certified Nurse Aide in a long term facility for two years. Years later I continued my education in nursing. I currently work with children and miss working with seniors. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, watch hockey games, fish, and shopping. One thing you should know about me is communication and collaboration is important. My skills include helping to complete ADLs so they maintain independence in their home, companionship, meals/light housekeeping.
