About Akiah

Hi! My name is Akiah, and caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life for years. I was the primary caregiver for my younger sister, especially during COVID, when I prepared her meals, homeschooled her, helped with her learning, and supported her growth. I also have paid babysitting experience with family and friends. I was part of the management team at Sky Zone, where I gained experience supervising children, maintaining safety, managing busy environments, and enforcing rules with kindness and consistency. I have a genuine passion for art, painting, and poetry, and love incorporating creativity into activities with kids. I'm big on making memories and creating fun experiences children can look back on fondly. I'm happy to help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, and crafts. As a skilled swimmer, I also enjoy supervised water activities. I value clear communication and keeping parents updated throughout the day!
