About Ajani

I've been caring for children since I was 14, for mainly siblings and other family friends. I've always loved working with kids, and I'm passionate about making a positive impact on their lives. I have four+ years of experience as a childcare provider, and I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I'm a creative and imaginative person, and I love finding new and fun ways to engage children and help them learn. I'm also very patient and understanding, and I'm always willing to listen to children's concerns and help them work through their problems. I believe that communication is key in any relationship, and I make it a point to keep parents updated on their child's day. I'm happy to chat with parents at pickup time, or I can send regular updates via text or phone call. I also follow the parents' preferred communication method, whether that's email, text, or phone calls. I'm somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules.
