Hi! I'm Aja. I was born and raised in Juneau Alaska. I moved to Portland to attend Aveda Institute and got my Esthetician license in Feb 2021. I slowly start loving Oregon and couldn't imagine not living here! I started working with kids at the age of 14. I was a student intern at an after school program/daycare, RALLY working with kids ages 5-12. I supervised the kids, planned games & art projects, helped with homework and prepared snacks/lunches. I worked there till I was 18 then took the job as a Special Education Para Educator at the same elementary school working with K-5 but primarily with K/1. Working with special needs kids 1 on 1 and in small groups. I helped with social skills, academics and activities. I love working with all ages but my favorite is infants-5/6, it's such a fun age to work with! I have taken 4 years of training in early childhood education.
