About Aisha

Hi! I'm new to Care. com, but not new to caring for kids. I'm the oldest in a blended family of six and spent much of high school and college caring for my three younger siblings. More recently, I've been babysitting my nieces and nephews, ages 18 months to 10 years. I'm an artist and teach weekend pottery classes to kids and adults at Belger Arts Center. I love creative, screen-free activities, being outdoors, gardening, cooking, and letting kids' own interests lead the way. During the week, I work mornings for a locally owned sustainable cleaning company, so I'm also happy to help with light tidying and meal prep. Before that, I spent seven years at a local microbrewery, which definitely taught me patience and how to stay calm when things get chaotic! I'm currently expecting my first baby and would love to find a few families looking for a warm, dependable sitter a few evenings a week. I'd love to hear about your family!
