About Ainslie

I am currently a master's student at the Manhattan School of Music, studying piano. I have had experience teaching and babysitting kids for about 8 years. I am a piano teacher, and before graduate school I took time off to build and manage my own piano students, which had about 16 students total, mostly between the ages of 4-8. I did this for two years and really loved exploring and supporting each child's talent, creativity, and imagination. I also learned how to manage scheduling, planning lessons and concerts, and create an exciting and healthy learninf environment for each child. I also started babysitting for families in my community around the age of 16. I have always loved kids, and this was a wonderful opportunity to work in the summer. I would take them to parks, swimming pools, camp, or stay inside and help with homework or play games. I have babysat kids from 11 months old and up. I am young, full of energy, creative, and enjoy spending time outside.

Ainsley is the absolute best! She was our son's piano teacher from age 7 to 9 and also did some babysitting. She is warm, trustworthy, smart, responsible, funny and so patient. She got our son to fall in love with music and worked at his pace, helping him choose music he loved. She challenged him to be his best self, while fostering creativity and growth. He always looked forward to piano lessons and left with a smile. We were so impressed with how much he learned in such little time. On top of all of these qualities, Ainsley is also mature beyond her age, poised, professional, and a true role model to all children. I highly recommend Ainsley!
