About Aidan

Hello! My name is Aidan. I'm a musician and artist at heart, and am always working on a new project in one medium or another! I've always appreciated the endless creativity and energy children naturally exude, and take great pride in helping children channel that energy into learning opportunities that help develop a greater appreciation for the world around us, and establish a greater sense within themselves of direction and purpose in their ever expanding world. My experience in childcare and education comes from my time as a Montessori school teacher assistant, and as an art and music teacher- in-training at a private school here in Portland. Both schools helped me develop the skills necessary to act as a confident guide for a child's natural curiosities. "Follow the child" is a mantra often referred to in the Montessori school setting and is the one I most often return to myself. Happy to help your children wherever they may want to journey to!
