About Agatha

I believe in the importance of finding joy and purpose in each day, regardless of age or ability. I enjoy being active, exploring the world around me and sharing adventures with others. I have my B. S. in therapeutic recreation; I understand and value the importance of a healthy and meaningful leisure lifestyle and I believe in the power of play and fostering the joy and purpose found in it. I think it is important to create a space of kindness, encouragement and fun. I enjoy playing, being silly and finding delight in the simple things we share with one another. I have had the great pleasure to work with an incredible 5-year-old boy and his family for the last 3 years. Our days are filled with books and stuffed animals, trips to the swimming pool, playgrounds, library, children's museum and explorations through the woods. I enjoy being engaged and active and I'm not afraid to get muddy, snowy, wet or dirty in the name of fun :)
