About Afton

Hi there- I'm a 25-year-old working professional; originally from Minnesota and I've been in San Diego for almost two years now working remotely for a public relations consulting firm. My experience w/ childcare includes looking after my 2 younger sisters growing up, + younger cousins and family friends. I also frequently babysat for neighbors for date nights, etc. I've also been a nanny for 2 separate families. One family was 3 children and I watched them for 4 consecutive summers: boy (from newborn), girl (from 12 mo.), boy (from 4 yrs.). The other family was 2 girls for 1 summer; 7 yrs old and 9 yrs old. In addition, I've grown up w/ cats and dogs, so I'm super comfortable caring for animals as well. I truly care about each individual kiddo and animal I meet, and try to make sure their own unique personalities are celebrated and respected. I'm hoping to earn extra income through care jobs, and I love that it's a way to use my natural demeanor/skillset in a meaningful way!
