Currently, I am a VPK teacher. I have been a employee with this company for 4 years and 8 months. Child care has been my career for the past 14 years to present. I started working in child care at the age of 18 doing part time work Throughout the years, I have been employed for 3 other child care facilities including my present job, maintaining employment on each job for 3 or more years. My experience in this profession includes: working with infants, toddlers, and children as well as after schoolers ages ranging from birth to 12 years of age. I have training in the following courses: *Early Literacy for Children Age Birth Through Three. *Basic Guidance and Discipline. *Emergent Literacy for VPK Instructors. *Infant and Toddler Appropriate Practices. *Language and Vocabulary in the VPK Classroom. *VPK Directional Credential. *Staff Credential Verification Birth-Five. *30 Hour Child Care Facility Training Part 1. *10 Hour Child Care Facility Training Part 2.
