About Afiya

Knowing I could make a difference in a child's life led me to childcare. For the past five years, I've enjoyed supporting families by providing a safe and nurturing environment for their children, ages 0-11. I am patient, creative, and friendly. I love engaging children with outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time. I have some college experience, First Aid Training, CPR Training, and I'm TrustLine certified (CA only). I can assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I always follow parents' lead regarding household rules and communication preferences, whether through daily reports or verbal updates. I'm eager to bring my experience and passion to your family, creating a space where your child feels secure, understood, and truly cared for.
