Aerin cancelled on me late the night before a major event I couldn't miss. She said she had been feeling poorly and contracted COVID. Given our current state of awareness around sickness, it seems possible that she could've given me a heads up with more notice than an 11pm email. I suspect, she changed her mind about an eight hour booking on a Friday night, and lied about the reason. When I asked her to make the cancellation, she didn't even bother to reply. Then, Care.com won't allow a search within a certain time period, so I spent valuable time trying to get through the phone tree to speak to someone about a new sitter, which never happened. Don't hire this girl.
