I'd describe my personality as creative, funny, and warm. I started working with kids when I was 10 years old, in the church nursery. I became the neighborhood babysitter, then went on to nanny and preschool/daycare positions. I worked at Kindercare for 4 years with all age groups teaching their enrichment classes(Spanish, Phonics, music, cooking.) I left the field once my own son started school, as I desired the ability to make my own schedule. I went on to start a cleaning business that I ran for 8 years. Now that my son is older, I would love to work with kids again but ideally with some level of flexibility as I occasionally travel with my husband for his job. Some of my strengths are creating/keeping schedules and routines for kids of all ages, cooking and cleaning and caring for pets. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. We’ve had such a great experience with Adrienne over the past few weeks! She takes wonderful care of our two boys (10 months and 2.5 years old) and is really great at keeping them engaged, playing with them, and teaching them new skills and words. We especially appreciate how thoughtful she is - she even brought her own toys and books that are age-appropriate and help teach things like gentle hands and not hitting. Adrienne is calm, kind, reliable, and very patient with both kids. She also managed to get our toddler to nap with her, which was a big deal since he previously only wanted his mom to put him down! We would definitely recommend her to other families.
