About Adria

I have been working with kids about 4 years now and nannying for 2. I'm happy to share my resume and references. I like working with kids because I love seeing them learn and grow, It's important to me to give kids space to do so. I'm looking for a job with a consistent schedule that pays a livable wage and an employer who treats me with compassion and understanding. One thing you should know about me is I am openly nonbinary and queer. This is something that I will talk about candidly in an age appropriate manner with kids if asked. My top 3 skills include -Initiative and Problem Solving: I am very quick on my feet and have no problem taking charge to solve issues. -Quick Learning: I learn fast so I'll have routines down in no time (as well as your kids interests and favorite games). -Empathy: I know when to get calmed down and talk it out (or sit quietly together), I never want any kid (or anybody) to leave a situation feeling unheard or misunderstood.
