About Adriana

Hi! My name is Adriana, though most people call me Adrian. I'm a current Spanish Major in my freshman year of college, having graduated high school while taking Spanish classes all the way up to Spanish 4! Admittedly, I'm still not fluent in the language, but growing up around a lot of Hispanic peoples and cultures allow me to have a good grasp on what may or may not sound funny while trying to learn the language. I'm looking for a job whereby I can help someone that may be struggling to understand certain Spanish concepts. The earlier Spanish classes (1 and 2) are my strong suits, but I'm fairly capable in regards to Spanish 3 and 4. I try to commit to the learning style of the person I'm tutoring as best I can, rather than the methods they may be taught in class. I've had experience with teachers who insist I learn the material "this way", when in actuality, "this way" confused me, and "that way"-MY way- helped me understand the material better.
