About Addison

Hi there! I'm a dependable, hands-on childcare provider and household assistant, ready to make your life a whole lot easier! I have several years of experience in childcare from newborns to teenagers, including twins and children with special needs. I'm currently earning my Master's at Vanderbilt. I've studied lots of theories of childhood education and child development. I love creativity and find music, art, and dance to be one of the best ways to express myself; I also love getting outside and getting active! I'm energetic, responsible, and very organized. I believe in personal accountability and a holistic approach to health: mind, body, and spirit. I'm confident and not afraid to be goofy when it's appropriate! I believe in giving children the independence to direct their own learning (with guidance!) and grow as they go. As a former early childhood educator, I know that social skills are just as important as education, and I intend to help your little ones excel in both!
