I bring a calm, attentive, and creative presence to caring for children. Before entering monastic life, I taught surf lessons for kids, and during my 4. 5 years at a Zen monastery I helped care for children during the weekly Sunday children's program. I also served as Head of the Kitchen and coordinated meditation retreats, developing strong organizational skills, responsibility, and the ability to create safe, welcoming environments. I have 2. 5 years of experience as a professional ocean lifeguard, EMT training, and current CPR certification. As a visual artist and musician, I love encouraging creativity through art, music, and time outdoors. Families describe me as gentle, patient, dependable, and grounded. I enjoy helping children feel safe, supported, and confident as they learn and grow.
