Hi there! My name is Abby. I have lived in Austin for 12 years now and absolutely love it. I have taught math at the elementary level for 8 years now and absolutely adore it. I am eager to continue teaching and tutoring young minds over the summer; especially in a one on one setting. Third grade is my speciality, but I could also tutor for anything younger. I have a passion for both teaching and learning which I believe has made me to be an exceptional teacher. I am well versed in the Texas standards in which third graders need to master their STAAR test. I have received the TIA designation of "Exemplary Teacher" for 2 years in a row now. Abby is great! Highly recommend her. She cared for our 1 yr old twice a week for months and he simply adored her. He got excited when she arrived and sad when she left. Abby took our son to parks, to The Thinkery, to the aquarium, on walks, and made sure he was entertained, learning every day, and well fed.
