In 1997, my English Instructor asked me if I was interested in caring for her elderly parents a couple nights a week. What I thought was going to be a short term gig blossomed into a 3 year long relationship until they no longer needed my assistance. I continued to find paid work as a caregiver for the elderly, as well as a babysitter/nanny for children ever since. Over the most recent years, I have worked with families to provide their loved ones with the care they need including assisting with general living activities, cooking, light cleaning, help with some mobility, medication assistance, and more. I have recent experience with dementia, post-surgery care, and providing assistance near the unfortunate end of life, which was my most recent long-term position. So I'm in search of helping another family with the care and nurture they need. I'm fully vaccinated and can provide references at request.
