I'd describe my personality as empathetic, fun, and responsible. I like working with kids because I enjoy their zest for life and natural curiosity. I'm looking for a job that helps parents like me to achieve their goals by having reliable child care, and helps kids feel comfortable enough to explore their world. I started working with kids during high school as a tutor for K-8. I helped kids build proficiency in math and reading. Years later, I had my first child and took a year off from full-time to focus on motherhood. It was the best decision of my life. In my spare time, I like to take long walks, explore the city, garden, listen to music, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I care for others like I care for my own. My skills include empathy, responsiveness, and playfulness.
