Hello everyone! Ideally looking for a family/ families with dependable hours. I have been a full time nanny for multiple families for 3 years now, and have been babysitting on and off for around 7 years. I have the most experience with infants, toddlers, and children up to 13. I can provide multiple reference upon request! I would prefer a family that is comfortable with me taking their child to parks, libraries, and other fun activities! About me: I just moved into a new apartment in northwest Reno but I do not mind traveling a bit for the right position. I am in college getting my bachelors degree in Human development and family services. Prior to this career path I was studying to become an elementary school teacher. I decided to change so I could help more children. I paint and do other crafts in my spare time, and sometimes participate in local craft fairs. I have two younger siblings that I have watched grow into amazing young adults.

We hired Abi to nanny for us when our newborn was too small for daycare and I had to return to work part time. Abi was wonderful and just what I hoped for as a caregiver for my little girl. She started when baby was 6 weeks old. My baby girl was needy and not always the easiest to read and Abi was exceptionally patient and nurturing. Keeping your composure while being screamed at by a newborn is rough for anyone, and Abi always handled it in stride and would calmly work with her to figure out what she needed. She spent many hours just holding her and I am grateful for the comfort she provided my baby while I had to work. Our time to enter daycare has come (sadly) but we will continue to use Abi in the future any time we need extra care for our daughters.
