About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abbie, and I've worked with children all throughout my young adulthood. As a teenager I worked at various summer/sports camps, teaching and taking care of kids from ages 3-12. I also grew up babysitting and caring for my siblings (one of whom is developmentally disabled). Most recently, before I moved to New York I worked as an in-home nanny. I took care of a family's 18-month-old and 3-year-old for a year, until I graduated and moved to Brooklyn! I learned to care for and keep two children safe and happy, and support the parents when they needed it most. I enjoy cleaning and organizing, so housekeeping tasks are no issue for me. I hope to be a source of support more than anything! :) Currently, I'm looking for a part-time, short-term position (under a year). I have a flexible schedule and would be happy to work around yours!
