About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abby, I'm 22, and I love working with kids! I am currently a part-time Fire and Life Safety Educator at the Olathe Fire Department and am looking to fill some of my afternoons, evenings, and weekends with childcare opportunities! I am CPR & First Aid certified and have lots of experience working with children of all abilities from 0-18 years of age in many types of roles and environments. I recently graduated from K-State with a Bachelor's in Human Development & Family Science, with minors in Well-being and Children in Group Settings. My experience with children includes babysitting, swim instructor/lifeguard, full-time nanny, lead Sunday School teacher at my church, volunteer at child centers, and a caretaker for a teenage girl with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Along with my education and experience, I am very energetic, fun, creative, responsible, and trustworthy! I am passionate about working with children and families and hope to work with your family!
