About Abigail

Hi, I am a graduate student of the Fashion Institute of Technology and I am passionate about education for all ages. I am a dedicated sitter and enthusiastic teacher! In high school, I tutored elementary school students in all subjects and my peers in chemistry, algebra, and SAT prep. I also led Family Day at the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, where I taught arts and crafts workshops to children 5-12. My undergraduate studies focused in museum education, and I served as a mentor and internship supervisor for high school students at the Parodi Costume Institute. In this role, I guided students in learning fashion history, museum collections care practices, digital photography, writing, and research! I love taking care of and teaching children, and I am specifically looking for tutoring and sitting opportunities to help me pay my way through my graduate studies.
