Hello! My name is Abby. I am certified English Language Arts Teacher (licensed for grades 7-12) with two years of experience teaching at Garfield Heights Middle School in Garfield Heights, Ohio (2021-2023). My husband and I moved to Wooster this past May and welcomed our first child in June. I am looking to maintain my passion of working with students and teaching while balancing a family life with my husband and son. Additionally, I have overseas teaching experience. Form 2016-2017 I was an auxilar de conversacion in Madrid, Spain. I taught ESL to Spanish and Arabic speaking students at an elementary school. My students came from diverse backgrounds and different countries, such as Spain, Morocco, Pakistan, and Romania. It truly was the most lifechanging experience and ignited my passion into the educational field. I have tutored a variety of ages from elementary to adult and I love working with students of all backgrounds!
