About Abigail

As a 2020 graduate, I have learned a lot more than school taught me in class. Persistence, drive, and motivation waxed and waned as the pandemic took us all on a wild ride. However, I learned the value of a student's motivation in education firsthand. Prior to the pandemic, I taught Spanish grammar to native Spanish speakers who grew up speaking it in the home. Within a year, my students became proficient in reading and writing in Spanish. Using their creativity to capture their excitement, the class wrote books, played games, and read in order to get to where they were. I hope to be able to have the opportunity to recreate this energetic environment for your student to learn Spanish.
