Hello, my name is Abigail. Over the past eight years I have had the pleasure of working with children from various backgrounds and ages ranging from toddlers to high schoolers. I have worked with kids in various settings- both in home and in after school care. A little bit about me: I am from Kansas City where I attended college and received a BS in Biology from UMKC in 2016. Following college, I moved to Austin for a year where I worked as a science instructor teaching youth gardening and STEM courses for 2nd-5th grade classes. During my year of service I developed a unique teaching style within an informal setting and a passion for working with children! I have a background in fiber arts and farming and love to bring an artistic learning environment to the families I work with. I am light hearted, easy going, and always down to have fun after homework time.
