About Abigail

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, outgoing and reliable. I like working with kids because it brings me joy when I can create a good relationship with children and their families. I'm looking for a job that is compatible with a college student that has a part time internship. But I also look for a family that I can connect with on a professional and personal level. I started working with kids when I was 10 years old when I helped out my third grade teachers son when she had meetings in the morning. But I started more long term child care when I was 15 years old. In my spare time, I like to swim/sports, learn new skills and I like to be creative. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and hard working. I've worked with many different children in a sense that I am able to adapt to families well. My skills include positive behavior guidance, strong communication with both the child and parents/ guardians and I am empathetic to make sure everyone feels safe.
