About Amanda

I graduated this year Summa Cum Laude from University with a degree in Integrated Social Studies Education. I am a licensed Social Studies teacher for grades 7-12. My course work has focused on developing an expertise in my content area of Social Studies, but also on different teaching strategies and rational. I have had multiple experiences as a student teacher in both private, public and charter schools from diverse districts. My responsibility in those classrooms would involve lesson planning and independently running my classroom as well as working with students one on one. I have worked with a diverse population of students from gifted to special education and have developed skills and practice supporting these students. I am dedicated and overjoyed at the role that I have been able to play in the lives of the students I have influenced and hope to make a difference for many more.
