About Abigail

I have worked with children, young adults, and individuals with special needs my entire career, and genuinely love caring for others! At 19, I began working as a paraprofessional alongside a behavior specialist in a program for adults with special needs. I stayed for 8 years, gaining experience with behaviors, medical emergencies, medication administration, CPI, and more. I was also honored with a district-wide award. I later worked with children ages 4-6 with special needs before becoming a high school paraprofessional, where I currently work. I've also coached high school basketball for 8 years, worked as a private caregiver and respite care worker through CLS for 5+ years, worked summer school, and provided 1-on-1 tutoring. I'm also an aunt to 3 little ones, ages 5 to newborn, and babysit them often. I've essentially spent my life caring for and helping others and truly love what I do! I'm looking for a second job and would love the opportunity to help your family. :)
