About Abigail

As a secondary english education major, I have gained valuable experience during my time at Penn State through classes that have allowed me to observe middle and high school classrooms. During these observations, I have been able to work with students and see how they work in a classroom setting. I have also taken the opportunity of being a volunteer tutor through a program at the local high school. This semester I am tutoring two 3rd graders in math. This opportunity has allowed me to improve upon my communication skills, as well as get a better understanding of how students think and learn new material. My strongest subject is English, but I am willing to work with any students on any subject!
