About Abigail

I graduated from college with a degree in Child Study & Human Development. During college, I spent three summers working as a day camp counselor and swim instructor. After college, I spent a year and a half working full-time as a preschool teacher supervising and teaching 15 three to 4-year-old children. I'm currently in law school at Loyola pursuing a career in child advocacy and just finished my first year. I love getting to know children and their families. It brought me so much joy last year to see my preschoolers learn about themselves, the world around them, and grow into their personalities. I'm hoping to have a similar experience this summer. I'm very energetic and outgoing when it comes to working with children. I'd love to take children to the beach, the zoo, parks, or anywhere outdoors. I also have experience in teaching interpersonal skills, emotion regulation, self-help skills, and working with children with special needs.
