About Abigail

I have over 3 years of experience working with children from infancy through early elementary age. I have worked as a support staff member at a daycare, caring for children ages 3 months to 3 years old. In this role, I have completed extensive training in supervision and emergency response, and became confident in managing a wide range of responsibilities! My daily duties included diaper changes, assisting with toileting, feeding, supervising up to 4 children at a time, supporting transitions, facilitating naps, facilitating activities, and light housekeeping. Beyond meeting physical needs, I gained meaningful experience supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. I understand how to speak with children in a way that fosters connection, confidence, and emotional regulation.
