About Abigail

I'd describe my personality as goofy, empathetic, and caring I like working with kids because it feels empowering for me to pour into the life of a little one and know that what they learn now can benefit them for the rest of their life. And, they're just so much fun! I'm looking for a job that I can get to know the guardians and kids well over time. I prefer jobs where I can build lasting relationships with families. I started working with kids when I was in middle school. In high-school, I worked with elementary kids and babysat quite a bit all throughout highschool and have been babysitting ever since. Now, I have been working at an after-school program in Nashville, TN. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends, travel, practice guitar, and try out new coffee shops! One thing you should know about me is that I've also had experience working as a camp counselor! My skills include creating fun activities to do, homework tutoring, and conflict resolution.
