About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abigail and I am a senior in Social Work at The University of Montevallo. I have been working with children since the age of 15, and absolutely love it! I have worked with youth who have disabilities/special needs, children from newborn to the age of 6th grade, and children with behavioral problems. My work consisted of babysitting, camp counseling, after-school childcare, transportation, coordinating activities for certain age groups, changing diapers/cleaning up accidents, creating crafts, etc. I know hold an internship at Family Connection, which is a runaway homeless shelter/court ordered program for youth ages 11-17. I am extremely passionate about the youth of today, their safety, their happiness, and their quality of life. I hope I can help you and your family out!

Abigail made my son feel comfortable right away!! She has a very positive, fun, and caring attitude. We have hired her for 2 days so far and we were so pleased after each visit. She left detailed notes on diaper changes, activities, outside time, meals, etc. We had to work on our sons bday and she made it so special for him! She is incredible and I would highly recommend her!!
